Makerspace Club
Available for all students
Burkevale keeps students engaged by having ample Makerspace activities available to learn about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) subject areas. We have several makerspace carts for classes to use throughout the year which include electricity kits, robotics kits, sewing, woodworking, 3D printing, green screens and many other exciting resources.
Music
Vocal and Instrumental music for all students
BAND
In the early 1990s, Trustees initiated, after much research and development along with the financial means to purchase instruments, to begin our own music programme at Burkevale Protestant Separate School, thus incorporating the Arts as an integral part of our student educational programme. Over the years, music provided to our school community by our band has truly been a gift!
Student Council
The Board values our student voice about their education and their school experience. This group of students meet several times during the school year. Students are selected at the school level.
